XML Orders and Invoices

Nottingham, UK (September 16th, 2004).

It is now possible to receive sales orders via the Internet and to send sales invoices to your clients in the same way.

Rather than have an XML order or invoice sent as an attachment to an e-mail (which means manual intervention), they are delivered direct to a pre-designated folder (or directory) on your client's computer.

The order, or invoice, can then be automatically picked up by the host computer system.

You can completely automate the whole process, taking in and processing sales orders as they arrive, and automatically forwarding an XML copy to your client when you raise the invoice.

This feature complements our EDI facilities, but whereas EDI has high associated costs, transmission via the Internet does not.
